Born on March 24, 1964 in the village of Pechera in Vinnytsia Region


Learning Activity

Since 1980 through 1985 she studied at the Faculty of Physics and Mathematics at Vinnytsia Mykola Ostrovsky State Pedagogical Institute, specializing in Pedagogical Science, Methodology of Secondary Education, Physics and Mathematics. Having graduated from the Institute, she was awarded Higher Education Diploma and got the qualification of «Teacher of Physics and Mathematics».

Since 1992 through 1995 she was a postgraduate student at Vinnytsia Mykhailo Kotsiubynsky State Pedagogical University, specializing in Physics of Solid State.

Since 2005 through 2008 she was a doctoral student at Vinnytsia Mykhailo Kotsiubynsky State Pedagogical University, specializing in Theory and Methodology of Professional Education.

Employment Activity

For 10 years she had been working as a teacher of Mathematics, Physics and Informatics in secondary schools (classes with in-depth study of Physical-Mathematical disciplines).

Since 1992 she had been working as a Lecturer, Associate Professor, and Professor and since 2011 through 2016 – as the Head of Mathematics and Informatics Department at Vinnytsia Mykhailo Kotsiubynsky State Pedagogical University.

Since September 2016 she has been working as the Vice-Rector in Scientific Activity at Vinnytsia Mykhailo Kotsiubynsky State Pedagogical University.

As a Professor at Pedagogy and Professional Education Department she lectures on the academic discipline «Methodology and Methods of Scientific Research» for undergraduate students.


Scientific Research Activity

The scope of her scientific interests embraces such branches of Pedagogical Science as Natural and Mathematical Education, Professional Education, Informatics in Teacher Training, Methodology of Scientific Research, Informational Culture, and Management of Scientific Research Activity. She is the author of numerous books, textbooks and more than 200 scientific articles published in domestic and foreign specialized journals.

In 1997 she defended her Candidate dissertation «Interaction of dislocations with point and more powerful local defects and its influence on the silicon crystals dislocations motion» for obtaining the scientific degree of PhD in Physics and Mathematics in the specialty «Physics of Solid State» (scientific adviser - Prof. Makara V.A.).

In 2008 she defended her Doctoral dissertation «Theoretical and methodological foundations of formation informational culture of future elementary school teachers» for obtaining the scientific degree of Doctor of Science in Pedagogy in the specialty «Theory and Methodology of Professional Education» (scientific consultant – Acad. Gurevych R.S.).

Since 2004 up to present time she has been acting as the Scientific Secretary for the Specialized Academic Council for the defense of doctoral and candidate’s dissertation at Vinnytsia Mykhailo Kotsiubynsky State Pedagogical University. Since then fourteen PhDs have defended their candidate dissertations under her scientific guidance.

Prof. Alla Kolomiiets was awarded numerous state rewards: medal of «Excellence in Education», medal of K.D.Ushynsky, medal of V.O.Suhumlynsky and others.

Learning Activity

Since 1989 through 1994 Gromov I.V. had been studying at the Faculty of Information Technologies and Computer Engineering at Vinnytsia National Technical University, specializing in Computational Machines, Complexes, Systems, and Networks. Having graduated from the University, Gromov I.V. was awarded Master Degree Diploma and got the qualification of «Engineer of computer systems».

Since 1998 through 2003 Gromov I.V. had been studying at the Faculty of Foreign Languages at Vinnytsia Mykhailo Kotsiubynsky State Pedagogical University, specializing in Pedagogical Science, Methodology of Secondary Education, English Linguistics and Foreign Literature. Having graduated from the University, Gromov I.V. was awarded Master Degree Diploma and got the qualification of «Teacher of English and Foreign Literature».

Since 2007 through 2010 Gromov I.V. had been studying as a postgraduate student at Vinnytsia Mykhailo Kotsiubynsky State Pedagogical University, specializing in Theory and Methodology of Professional Education.


Employment Activity

Since 1994 through 2002 Gromov I.V. had been working as an engineer for different enterprises in the city of Vinnytsia.

Since 2004 up to present time Gromov I.V. has been working as the Head of Research & Development Department at Vinnytsia Mykhailo Kotsiubynsky State Pedagogical University

Since 2003 up to present time Gromov I.V. has been working at the Department of Methodology of Teaching Foreign Languages, lecturing on the academic disciplines «English for Specific Purposes» and «English for Academic Purposes».

Since 2018 up to present time Gromov I.V. has been working at the Department of Pedagogy, Professional Education and Educational Institutions Management, lecturing on the academic disciplines «Methodology and Principles of Scientific Research», «Innovative-Project Activity and Grant-writing», «Comparative Education».


Research Activity

The scope of scientific interests embraces such branches of Pedagogical Science as Comparative Pedagogy, Professional Education, Methodology of Scientific Research, and Methodology of Teaching Foreign Languages. Gromov I.V. is the author of a monograph, several textbooks and more than 70 scientific articles published in domestic and foreign specialized journals.

In November 2010 Gromov I.V. defended Candidate dissertation «Modern trends in development of professional technical education in Poland» for obtaining the scientific degree of PhD in Pedagogy in the specialty «Theory and Methodology of Professional Education» (scientific adviser - Prof. Shestopalyuk O.V.).

In November 2020 Gromov I.V. was awarded the scientific title of Associate Professor (The Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, #1471, 26 November 2020).

In October 2020 Gromov I.V. defended Doctoral dissertation «Theoretical and methodological principles of foreign language training of future teachers of non-philological specialties in higher educational establishments of Poland and the Czech Republic» for obtaining the scientific degree of Doctor of Science in Pedagogy in the specialty «Theory and Methodology of Professional Education» (scientific consultant – Prof. Kolomiiets A.M).

In June 2023 Gromov I.V. was awarded the scientific title of Full Professor (The Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, #768, 20 June 2023).
