Sets the Course for Advancement in Higher Education

On April 10, 2024, a meeting of the working group of Vinnytsia Mykhailo Kotsiubynskyi State Pedagogical University regarding the implementation of the ERASMUS+ project Redefining Higher Education on a digital context andmainstreaming a common inclusive and green structure based on EU best practices and policy recommendations. During the meeting, the tasks and objectives of WP2 Development of a Methodological Framework for the readjustment of the current pedagogical methods applied were discussed. This stage of research focuses on identifying modern pedagogical methods and advanced EU experience with an emphasis on digital transformation, sustainable development, inclusivity, and the development of a methodological basis for adapting educational programs of Ukrainian and Georgian higher education institutions to advanced EU practices.

This stage of the research is led by partners from Metropolitan College, who will develop a research methodology for identifying parameters for identifying pedagogical practices. At least 15 advanced EU practices will be identified, which will be analyzed by partners from Ukraine and Georgia. The research methodology will be conducted in groups in three areas - computer engineering, social sciences, and healthcare. Partners in the groups will identify gaps in educational programs of relevant directions, and in the future, with the help of focus groups from target countries, feedback from at least 50 interested parties (stakeholders) regarding the improvement of educational programs using the best EU practices will be collected.

It is expected that the joint research of Ukrainian and Georgian partners will result in a detailed report on the desk research and field research of the Best Practices and Skills.
